Whether you are sexy, fun, flirtatious, graceful or an actress, pole fitness can help you polish those skills! All while getting a good workout to build strength, tone and sculpt your body. Chris fell in love with pole fitness after Dazzling Divas set up a pole and rehearsed for a performance at her establishment three years ago. She is the owner and operator of Shenandoah Tumblers Inc. in Winchester VA. As she continued to watch she was able to correlate the relationship between pole fitness and gymnastics training. With her gymnastics background she has new goals not only for herself, but for others as well. She feels that pole fitness has helped her to get back into better shape and fitness than she was in her thirties and forties. Pole fitness is for anyone and everyone she says – because at Dazzling Diva Fitness she has personally watched the fitness growth of many women no matter their fitness level. She never thought it was for her until she tried it. She is now hooked and wants to share her fitness experience with others. She used to dread getting up and forcing herself to go to the gym and get on the treadmill, but with pole fitness it’s not like that. She receives her cardio and strength workout while not only dancing and having fun, but with conditioning exercises that have helped her lose weight, maintain weight and tone. Yes, we plank, and we squat! (she says) We are pole strong! Come check out one of her classes – you won’t be disappointed.
“Do what you love and then teach it to others”
Renee began poling in 2007. Renee was hooked from the first class and purchased her own pole within thirty days of starting her journey. She started instructing as soon as the doors opened at Dazzling Diva Fitness in November 2008.
Renee loved sharing her enthusiasm for pole and lyra fitness with others and being a part of the pole community but has now moved onto other important aspects of her life.
Jennifer took her first pole dancing lesson in the fall of 2008 when Dazzling Diva Fitness opened its doors and immediately fell in love with the sport. Jennifer loved how pole strengthened her physically and mentally, but what she loves most is how pole fitness gave her confidence, boosted her self esteem and a feeling of accomplishment. Her passion for pole only grew. After the birth of her fourth child, Jennifer new she wanted to share her passion by becoming an instructor.
In September of 2011, Jennifer began teaching her first class after completing an instructor certification course through another pole fitness studio. Shortly after, she completed the Discoveries Dance Pole Certification program. Jennifer loves teaching, but still loves being a student by attending pole workshops, events and training's to stay atop the latest in the pole fitness industry and to continue to grow as an instructor. This led her to discover Lyra, a new love and challenge. Jennifer attended the Spin City Aerial Fitness Hoop Instructors course and began teaching Lyra in the fall of 2014. For Jennifer, teaching is sharing a gift.
Michelle took her first pole fitness class at Dazzling Divas in the fall of 2011 with two wonderful friends. After the birth of her second child, she was anxious to lose the baby weight, take a risk to try something new, and enjoy exercise with a little motivation from the gals. However, the extra encouragement once needed to go to the gym was no longer necessary! Michelle craved the challenge, camaraderie, and confidence the sport provided. After a brief hiatus for baby
number three, the passion ignited again, and she returned to pole in 2014, jumping right in to perform an intermission routine during a Diva Graduation. The pole community constantly inspires Michelle, and she’s ecstatic to share her passion with other ladies! She loves how pole allows her to gradually and continually increase strength, set and reach new goals, and dance with the most amazing women in Winchester!
